BERTRAND FRANCQUEVILLE _
Bertrand Francqueville is a freelance perspective artist based in Lille.
His architectural training and experience in archaeological surveys help him develop unique graphic overlays that blend different eras. For example, to mark the 20th anniversary of Le Havre's city center's inclusion as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the artist has created a series of twelve drawings in which the vanished pre-war city meets the city of the Reconstruction.
These drawings combine the sensitivity of observational sketches made in the street with the scientific rigor of 3D modeling, based on verified archival documents.
