ENDER _

Ender was born in 1973 in Paris but precisely in the Belleville area (a Parisian graffiti art hotspot in the 80's) where the walls impressed his early years. He has been a professional comedian for 20 years.

His urban interventions are more often stencils which he first traces on paper before being applied on street walls. His choice of applying rather than painting directly onto walls comes from a double necessity.

On one hand his stencils are composed of 3 to 6 layers (matrices used for each colour, then painted on the successive layers), the operation being long is not practical for unauthorized application !

On the other hand, his creations on paper are only ephemeral, the objective being to surprise passers-by, a pleasant sudden morning vision of something on the wall. Ephermeral also due to the weather and street cleaning thereby becoming part of the 'oeuvre'.
