GENIES CAROLE _

Carole Géniès lives and works in Gagny, near Paris, France.

Studies at the Atelier Met de Penninghen, Art Studies at the University St Charles, Paris before becoming Directrice of the Rancy School of Fine Arts.

Her near to life-sized agitated paintings of the female body organising materials which result in a hyper creative mixture of acrylique, resine and collage on to natural linen canvas. She works from multiple sketches and also uses ink. Carole Géniès shows us through the postures of her female models their inner depth and modesty, an intimacy.
