I call myself Hutchinson. I started graffiti in the streets of Le Havre in the 90's.
My world of work goes from the golden age of Hollywood, spaghetti westerns and mythical characters from Clint Eastwood to blaxploitation. By way of using scrap posters and other materials, I give the characters a new energy. Tearing pieces from the old posters brings out its colours and the rebuilding of these pieces create words which correspond to the future artwork. I roam the streets and surf the net to find original old posters, billboards etc that have survived through time - this allows me a working draft to a new creation.
